I set up GM Developments
25 years ago after training as a joiner. Once qualified I was
given a job as a site manager for a small builder and developed
a taste for building. It was not something I had planned but
I found I had the right qualities to drive projects forward without
compromising on the quality of finish, which has always been
important to me.
Then I decided “I will
do this for myself” and set out on the road to being
a self employed builder. From the small rear extensions and
loft conversions that I undertook in my early Fulham days,
I have managed to grow the company to where we are today, carrying
out projects worth up to £5,000,000.
Over the years I have always
prided myself on quality and service and the clients that GMD
currently works for tend to demand the highest of both, something
I get great pleasure in delivering. Fortunately, they say we
are good at it!
I have clients currently who
were among my first clients all those years ago. That tells me
I must be doing something right. I see everything as a challenge
and thrive on delivering what most consider impossible either
in the time available or the expected complexity. There is always
a way!
My social life is spent watching
my daughters riding and, for my sins, watching Chelsea FC, though
at heart I am really a Fulham fan. |
